Mon, 23 April 2007 I am just informing everyone that this is my FINAL POST...I have not received any incentive to continue. I am here to just inform you that my podcast is also canceled... I thank everyone who helped, but my life has gotten pretty busy and I don't always have the time that I had initially to put into keeping this up and going. As of the First (1st) of May, this blog and the podcast are no more. iSwitch2Mac Category: Blog -- posted at: 11:21 AM Comments[12] |

You can transform one format into another for use by other software and in some cases, other hardware. With Digital Media Converter v2.73, they make it easy for you to convert your video and audio files from such formats as VCD, DVD, AVI (DivX, MS MPEG4, uncompressed, etc), MOV, WMV, MPEG-1, MPEG-2 (PAL, NTSC) and audio formats like MP3, WMA, and WAV. With this, you can even transfer media files to your Apple iPod or Sony PSP! Like that soundtrack from the latest DVD you bought? Why not rip the audio and add the soundtrack to your own music library? Or do you have Windows XP Media Center and record TV shows? Convert DVR-MS files on your Media Center PCs! All this and more with Digital Media Converter! Category: Blog -- posted at: 6:00 PM Comments[43] |
Sun, 14 January 2007 When it comes to comparing the Wii and PS3, it is like comparing a house hold kitten to cheetah. Both are mammals, they are both cats, but designed for their environment. The PS3, like the cheetah, is out for 'big game' or a larger hardcore gamer demographic than is the Wii. Like the Cheetah, the PS3 was built for speed. No doubt it has the Cell technology or something like that, but Sony nor other 3rd party developers can write/program for it yet to fully utilize what is under the shiny plastic. On the other hand, the kitten you might have sitting in your lap at home has a much greater appeal to just about anyone who likes cute and cuddly. That kitten doesn't need to be able to chase down and kill prey everyday to survive. Nope, you as its owner takes care of that basic need. The Wii, like the kitten, has a much greater appeal for the everyday person. Heck, my parents, who are 40+ years old, have played the Bowling game from Wii Sports and instantly fell in love with it. My mom (who, should I say, is the type of person to ask where the power button is on a computer) even manages to know how to turn it on and get things going with it. And now, with the Wii Browser, for the first time in her life, manages to do a little internet browsing! If this is what it is like all over the nation, imagine what Nintendo has just done! Many adults will see this, get comfortable with it, and view this 'Technology Transition' as a good thing, and they would be willing to invest later on, should Nintendo release a 'bigger and better' game console. Nintendo is hitting the market with the idea of putting a game console in every home and doing it so that even young kids and older adults can do so with ease. On the flip side, Sony went for the hardcore gamer (who happens to have $600+ in their eager pockets) that might be more hesitant to get one. Many people (at least, that I have seen) have a friend or two that bought one and demoed it. But because the games that are available aren't much better than what the PS2 games are currently, they aren't being impressed and will decide to wait. So, there you have it. Nintendo Wii $250. PS3 $600. Wii also plays GameCube games and via Virtual Console, plays NES, SNES, N64 and other classics. PS3 plays PS2 (most of them), Blu-Ray (which technically hasn't fully beat out HD-DVD), and regular DVD's. Winner: Wii, hands down. Category: Blog -- posted at: 2:30 PM Comments[1] |

Another great post talks about the Modbook. The 'Unofficial Mac Tablet.' The product looks amazing and works very 'Mac-like,' from what I can tell. Also Techzoogle has a very clean and easy to navigate site. No Google Ads cluttering up the page. It seems to load quite quickly for me. You will find just about everything Technology related you can think of. From Apple, Cellphones, Playstation 3, and even Robots/AI! In fact you will find quite a few gaming related articles including games and game consoles! If you want to know anything about anything Technology related, this is the place to go! Wed, 10 January 2007 To begin, I am back at college now. Whoo-hoo! I drove back on Monday and have been getting settled in and getting my books. I got off pretty easy this semester spending less than $200! I was pretty shocked. So yeah, that covers that for now. Nobody submitted their blog to me, so I was unable to do a review... If you don't like the way that I had that setup, say you do want permanent links or you just want me to pick random blogs every week, I am open to suggestions. Steve gave another fantastic Macworld Keynote! I am definitely looking forward to see the AppleTV and the iPhone in action. Too bad that won't be until February and June, respectively. Wed, 10 January 2007 For most of my visitors here, I can bet that most of you are in the age range of 13-25. Not all, but I can guess that this is my target base of readers. If I am wrong, please feel free to e-mail me. If this is true, that would mean that you are nearing the time of your life when buying and comparing car insurance may be an issue for you. Well, you can easily compare car insurance in one easy step! Start off by entering your zip code and go from there. It then gives you various insurance companies in your area. You can then visit each site and get a quote directly from the source. What could be easier? It would be more difficult and time consuming to call up various companies and ask. But to do that, you would probably have to look in the yellow pages of your phone book, again taking up precious time! I am no rocket scientist, but when someone does half the work for me, I like to take advantage of it. CarInsurance.com is a great place to start your search for car insurance! Wed, 10 January 2007 'Don't be silly, wrap your willy.'
'Don't be a fool, cover your tool.'
'Wrap before you tap.'
Many men have probably heard these and more when it comes to safe sex and using protection. The most common type of protection I am referring to is condoms. Yes, indeed. This website has just about everything you might want. Brands of condoms. Types of condoms. Information, colors, and everything in between. I say if you are going to have sex, at least protect yourself from not just pregnancy, but diseases like HIV, hepatitis, and many others. It only takes a few seconds to put one on and could save you millions...There motto should be, 'One Website could could save you $XXX every year.' Then have some testimonials and customers who saved...similar to Geico. They could even have a 'Gecko' with a 'cap' on... If you visit UndercoverCondoms.com, you will see a long list of types of condoms and other 'accessories' on the left hand side to pick from. They even have female contraceptives available! They have warming, colored, and the best one of all, flavored! This is a one-stop shop for safer sex. If you can’t find it here, you won’t (likely) find it anywhere else! Sun, 31 December 2006 The following post is sponsored by PayPerPost and HP. What do PPP and HP have in common? The need to share. HP sponsored an event with PayPerPost and gave away some great HP products! If you haven't seen the video yet, it is after this. If given the opportunity, I definitely participate! I think that not only would it be fun, but challenging. Granted, I live nowhere near a city of that size. PayPerPost is always coming up with crazy schemes for people to earn some dough. I wouldn't mind ending up with an extra $500. That would go straight into the iMac fund. No doubt about it. If any of you have or would like to participate in one of these, write me and tell me about what kinds of things you did, or would to see PayPerPost have you do. If they asked me to find a Blue Feather or a Gold One, I could do that piece of cake (at home that is, not in college). Let me know what you think of the video. Also, don't forget that you can go to HP for all your Digital Photo Printing needs. This post was brought to you by HP. Category: Blog -- posted at: 10:47 PM Comments[0] |
Sat, 30 December 2006 Starting Today, I am taking blog submissions for featuring your blog. If you wish to be featured here, please reply to this post or email me at iswitch2mac@gmail.com with your first name and a link to your blog. I will then visit your blog and pick the best entry for the week of the 3rd. For a full 7 days, the Home Icon, a text link, and one post will be dedicated strictly to the winning blog. You can submit more than one blog if you have multiple blogs and you can submit for every week, though don't count on winning every week! As explained earlier, the link and Home icon will only direct to your site for 7 days, after which it will point to the next winner. Starting Wednesdays, I will make a post asking for submissions. That gives me some time to read through everybody's blogs and pick a winner for Sunday. There won't be one this week, but you can bet on it next week! Mon, 25 December 2006 Good news! I have had over 10,000 unique people download a video from my site! That is quite a lot! Now, lets shoot for 20,000! In other news, it's Holiday season, so I wish everybody a Happy Holidays! I hope you all had a wonderful and safe time with family and friends. Until next time! Mon, 18 December 2006 Just today, I was checking my e-mail, and low and behold, guess who was too? Spartan117! That's right, we had and instant message conversation and we talked...oh for I'd say a good half hour. Nothing too serious. Just a little about ourselves, what our plans for the future are, things like that. We are both going into the Computer Technology field, which, is like, totally, like, way cool...like! Anyways, if you haven't checked out his blog yet, or don't know where to find it, you can click here. He is on his way to be a Halo Professional (hopefully someday soon!) and would like your help. If you want to help him (for as I said, he too is scraping away all the nickels and pennies for college) get an Xbox 360, just donate a dollar or two or $400! Getting an Xbox 360 is more realistic than trying to get a Mac computer before 2007! I encourage you to take a look at 2BHaloPro! Category: Blog -- posted at: 8:30 PM Comments[0] |
Sun, 17 December 2006 Well, things are going great so far. I am nearing $300 and I am very excited! I started this blog/site not sure how things would turn out. As it is, it turned out nothing like I had expected! I have never heard of, nor would I have, if I hadn't started this. I would never have been able to share my thoughts and opinions. And of course, you guys have helped me in all this. Especially MacGeek and Spartan117. You guys have really pushed me along, giving me an extra nudge just at the right moment. Unfortunately, the iFizzle is closed, and probably will remain that way. He was closer to getting his Mac than I am. I hope to have at least half the money I need this summer! Then, the rest by Christmas (2007). That would be the ULTIMATE Christmas gift anyone could receive! I was hoping to get it by my 20th Birthday in March, but I don't think that is going to happen...which, is probably a good thing anyways. By the time I finally get my Mac, all the bugs of Leopard and any new hardware that Apple releases SHOULD be worked out. Well, before this becomes a book, I'll let you all continue on with your day! Sun, 17 December 2006 Someday, hopefully soon, I will make Bestest Blog of the Day. I would be very grateful for the exposure it would get me. I think if (more) people knew of my blog, the more enjoyable it would be. I would be thrilled if even 1000 more people would subscribe to my podcast. The more who know about it, the better! I wonder what would happen if I was able to copy over some of posts to a MySpace account...hmm...I don't currently use or have a desire to use MySpace, but if it got me more exposure, I might consider it. Anyways, I think the last Sunday before January, I will feature a post all about the Bestest Blog of All Time! Category: Blog -- posted at: 9:00 AM Comments[1] |
Wed, 13 December 2006 Being a Nintendo fan that I am, I recently got to play the Wii. Let me just say, that I was thoroughly impressed. Of course, that would be an understatement, but I'll go with it. I only played 3 games, 2 of them from the Wii Sports that comes with it. The sports games I played was Bowling, which I have to say was the best of the 2. And the other was Baseball. I had a challenging time trying to figure out when to swing, but eventually got on. The third game I played was Zelda: Twilight Princess. Fantastic game! Graphics could be...a little better, but overall game play is right on par. Lots of places to explore, challenging puzzles, and overall worth the money (if I were to get it!). I played the Wii with several of my friends at another friend's house. The controls for Twilight took a little getting used to, but nothing that 3-7 minutes of hitting each button or moving the controller didn't fix. If you are skeptical about buying one, then find a friend or store that has one for demo and take it for a trial spin. I know that Nintendo isn't competing with Microsoft and Sony as far as graphics go, but they are doing an amazing job at keeping players happy and even bringing in people who never owned a game console before. Which, if you look at it, is better in the long run. Think about it, would you rather sell 100 PS3's to 200 people who already own a PS2 or sell 100 Wii's to new customers that have never owned their own console and would recommend it to their friends and family? Me, I'd take the Wii any day. Especially considering the price differences...$250 (Wii) or $600 (PS3)! Sorry Sony, no matter how much hype you tout, I will NEVER spend $600 on a GAME CONSOLE, when I can buy a notebook PC for less than $500! And it can do more than watch movies and play games... It is just NOT worth the money! Category: Blog -- posted at: 1:00 PM Comments[1] |

Well, at www.couponchief.com you can do just that. They have GREAT coupons for some of the biggest online retailers. Including Target , Dell , and yes, even Apple! At Target, you can save 10% off anything you buy, with no minimum to purchase! Or at Dell you can get an Inspiron notebook for $499 with coupon! Wed, 13 December 2006 Well, I have only one Final Test left, in my Business class. Did I ever tell you what I am taking here? I don't think I ever did...hmm. Well, I am taking a 4-year degree in Computer Information Systems. Basically, what that equates to is a degree that educates me on EVERYTHING about computers. Hardware, software, networking, programming, security, e-Business, Operating Systems, you name it. I even had a course on XHTML, which is how I have been able to most of my 'Template Tweaking'. I might upload the website I had to build someday. It's not that outstanding, but considering what I learned from doing it, I think it's pretty amazing. I'll have to show you now... Anyways, I am now halfway through my Sophomore year. I have taken 15 credits a semester since I arrived. I'll probably be taking 18 next semester. I haven't decided whether I want to take the new course offered...Robotics! I think it would be fun to (attempt to) build a robot! Next semester I am taking Advanced Java Programming! Yea! Finally get into building interfaces. So far everything I have done is building applications that run from the command line. But now, I will be building applets and whatnot! Hopefully we get to program some kind of game... Category: Blog -- posted at: 9:15 AM Comments[3] |
Mon, 11 December 2006 So you have children at home and you work a 9-5 shift. So you have hired a babysitter. But do you know how SAFE they really are? How well do you trust your baby sitter? Pretty good? Not so good? How would you like be able to check on them at any given moment, just to see how things are going? Now you can with StealthCam Hidden Camera! This thing is TINY. No more wires or wireless connection to the VCR so they are hard to detect. In fact, it is actually disguised as a Clock or Air Purifier. It comes in Black and White or Color. This little Nanny Cam can record up to 23 hours on a 2GB SD card. But only that, it has SOUND. So you can review everything that was said. This hidden camera/spy camera can also be used to monitor pets while you are away. But now I ask YOU, my readers, when is a hidden camera a good idea? When is it not such a good idea? Would you use one? If so why or why not? Personally, I think it would a great tool to pull practical jokes on friends, but that is just me. If any of you have a hidden camera, do you like it? Would you ever consider getting another one or giving one as a gift? Please leave comments and your thoughts are always welcome. By the way, this can ONLY be detected with The SpyFinder Hidden camera Detector. Category: Blog -- posted at: 12:30 PM Comments[3] |
Mon, 11 December 2006 I wish you all a very wonderful and safe holiday season. I know the roads are nothing but ice where I am at (Montana). However, it looks like a lot of it is going to melt with all the warm weather we have been having! Also, I have in plans anyways, want to release all RvB until I hit Episode 50. That way it gives a solid 20+ videos of Red vs Blue in a row. Unless something comes up anyways... Episode 30. Just for y'all. [4:31] Comments[0] |
Mon, 11 December 2006 Do you like to play poker? Especially Texas Hold'em? Then you might be interested in Online Poker. PokerSavvy has information on playing poker and reviews of online casinos. I admit to have a played poker a time or two (not for money though). PokerSavvy even holds tournaments! You can win cash or prizes. The site even has Online Poker Strategy Articles! If you play online now, I encourage you to give PokerSavvy a visit. Category: Blog -- posted at: 11:00 AM Comments[1] |
Sat, 9 December 2006 If you watch iSwitch2Mac JUST for Red vs Blue, then Right Click (Or Control Click for Mac Users!) this link and paste it into any RSS reader, like iTunes to begin downloading Red vs Blue ONLY. That is all that I post to that feed. However, because I only post RvB to that feed, you might notice a greater gap in time as to when you get the videos. But, if you don't watch, or like, any of the other videos, then that is the feed you need. I originally created the feed for my 'Subscribers Only,' but that never took off, so I am releasing it publicly for the first time. I do not encourage you to use the feed, as you will miss all the other great videos that make up my podcast. But it cuts out the clutter for those with lower bandwidth who only want the Red vs Blue. And yes, you are welcome. If you would like a separate feed for just the Non-Red vs Blue Podcast Posts, let me know and I will see what I can do over my Christmas break. Sat, 9 December 2006 If you take a gander at my 'Dock' and my list of links, there is one that you should notice that stands out. To save you some trouble, it's the Bonjour Icon, which will lead you to the Bestest Blog of All Time. But, why do I have it twice? Well, I keep the text link as a 'requirement' to be kept as link from the website. In other words, it's a link exchange. However, because I personally use it nearly everyday, I found it easier for myself to include its very own place on my handy-dandy 'dock'. If you have never visited the Bestest Blog, then you wouldn't know that everyday he features somebodies blog and writes a little review about it. If he chooses your blog, you get a little exposure. He also likes to pick out certain posts, but you never know which post he is going to pick... If you are interested in doing a link exchange with him (PR5), please feel free to contact him and as long as you keep a link to his blog, he'll keep a link to yours. That's all for now. Thu, 7 December 2006 As many of you already know, I have been placing PayPerPost ads on my blog. Well, you know of the website: PayPerPost but do you know how the whole thing got started? Probably not. That is where Rockstartup and business reality tv comes in. The founders and owners of PayPerPost show how they got started in videos that you can watch online, or download in various formats including, 1080 HD, PSP, and yes, even iPod format! They (Ted and Britt) have 2 videos posted at the time this post was released and are currently working on the third video. It's pretty amazing what they had to go through. After watching these videos, I have a new respect for what they did for all of us bloggers. All we have to do is post advertisements, but they had to be the ones to try something new and hoped for the best. If you blog, and haven't tried PayPerPost yet, you should. I encourage all of you to at least do a single post. Or, at least visit Rockstartup! Category: Blog -- posted at: 2:00 PM Comments[0] |
Thu, 7 December 2006 As you can see from the total donations I am NEARLY 10% of my total goal! That is excellent! I am very excited! I still thank you guys, my 'listener's or 'podcastees' for assisting in the process...along with PayPerPost... Also, it is the Week before Finals, so things are pretty hectic for me. Preparing presentations, studying for tests, and the like. So I do apologize for not having said anything sooner. I will be posting a Red vs Blue later today. (Currently I am at work and don't have access to the file to upload at the moment...) Also, after finals week is over and done, I might update some links, change the layout of the Blog or something similar. Thanks again for visiting and I hope you decide to donate... Sun, 3 December 2006 PPP: Hi, I'm PayPerPost.
GAS: And I'm Google AdSense.
PPP: I'm into things, like paying bloggers for relevant ads, that they choose.
GAS: And I pay people for clicking on me. But only if they make a certain amount. Which is nearly impossible to reach for most bloggers. But I do find relevant ads based on an algorithm. Algorithms are cool and hip these days...
PPP: Well, actually ads that are based on what people have said are better.
GAS: What are you saying?
PPP: I'm just saying that I don't agree with you...
GAS: You're bad mouthing me aren't you?
PPP: No. I'm just saying that...
GAS: SHUT UP! I'm Google and you WILL listen to me. *WHACK*
PPP: Oh God!...Why did you hit me?! You hit ME!
GAS: Yep. Sure did...
Guess what? This marks my 150th POST!! YEA! Whoo-hoo! Don't laugh too hard. Took me a long time to try and get that done to look halfway decent...But you too could get paid for blogging at PayPerPost... Category: Blog -- posted at: 4:30 PM Comments[0] |

How cool would it be, if you KNEW that aliens existed and could PROVE it? Wait no longer my sci-fi friends, the proof is in the pudding...or should I say test tube? You can buy one of the Alien Adoption World Collectors Kits and own an alien. That's right. Your very own alien friend to take care of. From the initial 'hatching' to adult. It can even communicate ONLINE! However, there are a limited number of these, so act quickly before they are all gone. Check the video for more information. Personally, I think that's a pretty cool thing. If you need a holiday idea, that says, 'Hey, here's an alien,' then this is a perfect gift. Nothing says I love you like giving away something that lives... Category: Blog -- posted at: 8:00 AM Comments[0] |
Tue, 28 November 2006 Want a FREE and EASY way to help me achieve my goal of owning an iMac? Then click on the Filexoom link at the right and sign up for a FREE 2GB file storage site. That's it. Why does this help me? The File Xoom user referral program rewards me for placing links to File Xoom on my website/blog. I am given a special URL to distribute that contains my user id. Each time someone visits File Xoom through my link and registers to be a member, I am credited with referring that member to File Xoom. The top 30 referrers of the current month are displayed on this page. Just how much would this help me if 10 of you signed up? First prize is $150, second is $100 and third is $50! Right now, the leader has 9 referrals. And third place has 4. If I could land somewhere in the middle, I would be ecstatic!! Even $50 would be a great boost! But I could get $150 with your help! That $150 equates to 7.5% of the total amount I am asking! Imagine if I got that first place several months in a row... If PayPal isn't your thing, then why not gain 2GB in FREE online storage and help out a guy in the process? Category: Blog -- posted at: 12:30 PM Comments[0] |
Mon, 27 November 2006 I figured since I already did some crazy stuff, what's one more right? So, here is my 'Crazy' PayPerPost video for you to enjoy. If you would like this or my other 'Catfish' video up in the RSS, please let me know. Otherwise, I choose not to. But, if you wish to get paid to make videos like this, you can visit PayPerPost. Please, do not laugh too hard, I don't need you guys to be splitting sides or anything. I know it hurt the last time I split my sides :D Anyways, this makes my 146th post since the introduction of this site, and I want to thank you guys, my readers, and also PayPerPost for allowing people like me to make money to assist a man in his quest for the Holy iMac... Until next time, take care, drive safely (it's a blizzard outside where I am at!) and don't eat yellow snow, wooden nickels, or relatives. Especially the wooden nickels...bad nightmares...bad, bad nightmares... Category: Blog -- posted at: 10:45 PM Comments[0] |
Mon, 27 November 2006 So, this is my 145th post since I began my quest for the Holy iMac. Hoping beyond hope that if I put effort and free videos, that I would get something back. When low and behold my efforts weren't for naught, when I made my first dollar and soon my iMac shall be bought. But time and patience is what I have and I shall not concede defeat. One day I will own a Mac and will grovel at Steve Job's feet. I have made some friends along my quest, MacGeek, you are the best! Only 145 posts you cry? Yes indeed, and only 1900 more before I can buy. I will keep going despite what has transpired, for I cannot admit failure, I have sweat, bled, and perspired. Many tears of joy have shed for the men in Red vs Blue. And still I have not reached my goal, so I ask of you: Will you please help a guy who only requests a simple task, what is that you ask? Please help me achieve my dream of owning an iMac, by donating what you can, and that my friend, is not whack! Category: Blog -- posted at: 10:30 PM Comments[0] |
Mon, 27 November 2006 Well, I finally went loco and made a Catfish video. Yes, me...sad I know. But you know, I do get paid to make videos. And this one, well, seemed easy enough to do. So what if I look like an idiot on the internet right? Right? Anyways, I become Antwoine, Antonio's Roommate. And no, that isn't my real hair...as real as it seems ;) So, leave me some comments or email me a link to your catfish video. I would like to see what other people have done. Antwoine the catfish totally beats Antonio! But remember you too can get paid to make videos! Category: Blog -- posted at: 8:30 PM Comments[0] |
Sun, 26 November 2006 I finally broke $100! I am so excited! I can't wait until I get the full $2000! Once I have that, you know what that means. Also, my 150th post is coming up. I am hoping to have $150 by then, but we will see... Sorry for not posting recently, but work has gotten me behind. I will try to post another episode for you on Monday. The internet in my school dorms is down, so I am posting this from the Library... Category: Blog -- posted at: 8:00 PM Comments[2] |

Mon, 20 November 2006 As you can see above, I have nearly broken $100 in donations/payments! I am very happy to see that I am on track to my goal! I hope to have my iMac before my birthday in March. Wouldn't that be the greatest birthday gift anyone could receive? I mean, a whole computer? And an Apple one at that?! That would be...just...just orgasmicly fantastic!! Anyways, I broke my string of one PPP everyday throughout the month of November, but I felt it was necessary. I felt that I was pushing it too much. I don't want this to become a blog of ads, you know? Anyways, Thanksgiving is Thursday, and I will be working all day Friday and Saturday. I will put some content up on Wednesday for you and hope that it ties you over until at least Sunday! I hope you all had a great weekend. I know I did. It was my best friend's birthday and we (my friends and myself) took him out to Pizza Hut and Bowling. And we also went to see the James Bond movie. I found it to be a great movie, even with the 'different' James Bond. It was action packed and kept me entertained, though there were some slow parts. Thu, 16 November 2006 So, there is video that is gaining in popularity. Which video? But of course, it is Antonio, Master Impressionist. Episode catfish! In this video, he does his best to 'impersonate' a catfish. Watch and be amazed at how he transforms. It is like magic! You can hardly tell the difference between a picture of a catfish and Antonio! This video has many people imitating Antonio in hopes of getting money...so, if you see me on here, trying to impersonate a catfish, try not to laugh too hard... I am not sure if I want to do that yet. But I might. If you think you can do better, sign up with PayPerPost and you could make money doing it! Category: Blog -- posted at: 10:00 PM Comments[0] |
Wed, 15 November 2006 So, by now, you must be thinking that I am doing a lot more posting of Text, rather than videos. Well, you are correct. Why, because that is what Blogs are all about. After all, this is a Web Log. That is where the term Blog originated. Another reason that I have been posting more, is because of PayPerPost. They do blog reviews and I get paid to make posts. What is even better, is that I get to not only choose what to post about, but also to voice what I think of what is being advertised. I love PayPerPost! They are helping me achieve my ultimate goal. To dump Windows and get a Mac. As I have stated before, I have been using Windows since I was knee high to a grasshopper, and I want to experience what life is like 'on the other side.' So yes, I will continue to post ads (at least one every day throughout the month of November). In conclusion, I would like to express my gratitude towards PayPerPost and their new and inventive idea to allow bloggers to post RELEVANT ads, not Google AdSense ads! Wed, 15 November 2006 The following is a paid review by ReviewMe... While 'wandering' around the internet, I stumbled upon a site called ReviewMe. It is similar to PayPerPost, in that I am paid for writing reviews. However, unlike PayPerPost, advertisers pay based on what my blog is 'worth.' At PayPerPost, each ad is given a value by the advertiser. However, at ReviewMe, all posts are paid on what your blog is estimated to be worth. A blog can be worth $20-$200. However, you only make half for what your blog's price is. I will try a couple of ReviewMe's and see what happens. ReviewMe is a new service, so we will see what happens over the next few weeks. I will let you know how things turn out. Personally, I am not sure which I prefer. I am definitely excited to see some competition and hopefully something great comes this whole thing. I hope that the competition between the two results in some great innovation and fantastic features. Feel free to visit ReviewMe. Category: Blog -- posted at: 12:00 AM Comments[0] |

Fri, 10 November 2006 Saturday cartoons. We all remember them. And now, you can relive many of those old shows. Superman, Popeye, and Merry Melodies, just to name a few. tVadio is offering these Classic Cartoons for free. That’s right. Free. And that’s not all. tVadio also offers Music Channels, Drama Channels, and dare I say, a channel for . tVadio offers and easy way to access online internet TV channels. They believe that internet TV should be as effortlessly as possible. What is Internet Television you ask? Basically, an online TV channel should resemble the traditional TV channels that everyone is used to. tVadio only lists quality online TV stations with a substantial amount of TV programming. You won’t find short clips from them. However, I must say that tVadio is currently in beta and is under some heavy development. But that is not to say that you shouldn’t try it, because it is cool, but you just need to understand that this is not a final product. They are in need of adding more channels to the database. They are working to improve the tVadio Player, and they want to work on additional features. If you have any ideas for tVadio, you can send your suggestions, ideas, or comments to feedback@tvadio.com. Category: Blog -- posted at: 8:00 PM Comments[1] |

Thu, 9 November 2006 I put this up so that everyone knows that the content generated from this site SOMETIMES is influenced by outside sources. The videos posted to my RSS feed are NOT mine unless otherwise stated. ALL of the textual content is ORIGINAL content. However, it may have been sponsored. I think that by posting my disclosure policy, then you, as my reader, have a better understanding of what this blog is about. This blog was created to raise money to make the switch from Windoze XP to Macintosh. That is not to say that, when I finally do make the transition that this blog will close. Because it WILL NOT. I ENJOY posting here. Whether it be videos or just my thoughts. Like any other blog out there, my voice is only one, but you are many. Now that you know how I feel, you too can quite easily create your own Disclosure Policy. Category: Blog -- posted at: 12:30 AM Comments[0] |

But, you don't have to take my word for it, check out this press release. Or this one. Or maybe this one. Megaglobe.com, which will operate from over 300 individual country-specific URL's and is to be translated into hundreds of languages, is set to challenge its rivals by employing a unique and sophisticated algorithm to improve the quality of Internet searching. The patented algorithm works by allocating each search result a ranking - known as a Megarank based on analysis of the quantity and quality of pages which link to the search result. The algorithm then creates a structure of importance to the sites based on their relevancy. With its ability to trawl through over a billion pages quickly and efficiently, the technology will also allow the user to view a site picture and text containing information about a site in a separate window without first clicking into the web page. "This is a new way to surf the net. This is the future," said Megaglobe CEO Naima Moore. "There's so much information on the Internet out there, and users need a search engine to filter all that information for best results. The Megaglobe Algorithm is the best possible method to filter the Internet." If you buy stock, now might be the time to get yourself in on what could be the next Google! ![]() Category: Blog -- posted at: 1:15 PM Comments[1] |
Fri, 3 November 2006 If you are like most teenagers, then you might have...well, acne. If this is true, you might like this acne medicine called ProActiv. I kid you not, when I say that I have used and CURRENTLY use this stuff! It works great! And at $20, who can argue with the results that I have experienced. Now, I am not saying that it works for everybody, but no single product will work the same for everybody. But if you have tried the rest, then give ProActiv a test. With a 60 day money back guarantee, you have to try it! I first heard of it on TV, so I thought, eh, let's give it a shot. I am glad that I did. You can spend money on other products that may work, but for how long? This stuff (at least for me) works for quite awhile. You might as well give it a shot. Wed, 1 November 2006 As many of my readers should know, I have been posting some PayPerPost Ads, trying to earn some money to buy myself a Macintosh computer. Right now, I am set to earn nearly $100. As the money comes in, I will add that amount to my total earnings you see at the top. That means about every 30-50 days, I will earn $100. (Assuming my current pace of posting and their current price set!) So what does that mean, assuming that I make $100 in 40 days, it will take approximately 2 years to reach my goal. So, that is where I need your help. Here is what I am proposing. If you have ever scrolled all the way to the bottom of my website, you will see 2 things. The first is my page hit count. Which, as of this post was at 3220. Not a whole lot. That hit counts everything. If you refresh the page and scroll down again, it increases 1. The other thing you will see down there is my page rank. (Currently at 4) The higher this is, the better. Though 4 isn't bad, it is also not very good. My proposal is this. If I can purchase my computer before March 2007, I will bump the iPod from a Nano to the (what is currently) the 5G iPod with Video. I will even go so far as to say, I will let the winner decide which model. U2 Edition or 30GB (Black or White). Does that sound like a fair deal? Donate $1 get 1 chance, donate $50 get 50 chances. Refer me through PayPerPost, get 5 chances (FREE for you!). So far, I have a person who has donated over $16. If you wish, you can still subscribe to my subscriber only content for $12/6 Months. If I don't get any subscribers by the end of November, I will remove those links. I am not asking for much. I am only one man, who is desperately trying to make the switch from Windows to Macintosh. So please, help me in my dream of owning a Macintosh. -Adam Category: Blog -- posted at: 9:30 PM Comments[0] |
Sun, 29 October 2006 Well, I spent some time this weekend working on an all new version of the Dock. It is up and running, as you can see. But what is so special about this dock? Well, images are 'cleaner' looking. Meaning that I used higher resolution images, then took the time to get rid of the border around them. Many thanks to Photoshop CS2 Trial Version! But not only do the images look better, they grow/shrink like a real dock, although MUCH slower. Everything on this web page that I can edit is in XHTML. So, I would use flash, but I do not know how. Gaze in awe of my xhtml dock! WHOOO! Also, I updated the Donate, Subscribe, and Unsubscribe buttons. Apparently, nobody wanted free music... That also means that my button contest is canceled. Nobody contacted me or submitted anything. Enjoy the updates! Category: Blog -- posted at: 4:47 PM Comments[1] |
Fri, 27 October 2006 So, you have heard me use Skype before. But there is now a telephone company, Vonage, that uses that same Voice over IP (VoIP) technology. And, Vonage even has forums now. Here, you can find help, how-to guides, answers to many questions that you may have and more. They even have a thread where people can post what new features that they would like to see. Vonage isn't just available in the US. It is also available in the UK and Canada. If you are looking for a phone service, you might consider Vonage an option. Thu, 26 October 2006 Well, it seems that the iFizzle closed not because of bandwidth issues, or domain issues at all. It seems, that he broke copyright. He is closed for copyright infringements. Sadly, I wish it was something simpler than that. I truely wish him the best of luck. I was actually looking forward to making an iFizzle myself using his designs. But it appears now that I will never get to. I hope that he get his Mac Pro, he was SO CLOSE to his goal! But, again, that depends on how many people wanted their donations returned too. I do not know if he reads my blog, but in the off chance he does, I wish you the best of luck. I hope that you get a Macintosh anyways (maybe not the one you wanted...) and I hope that everything works out well for you. And, I am sorry that your iFizzle was removed. :( Category: Blog -- posted at: 12:30 PM Comments[3] |

You can Meet FrightWorld stars Dina Cataldi and Tiffany Scott and assorted FrightWorld Scream Queens. Not only, but you can also Meet FrightWorld Writer, Producer and Director David R Williams!! How cool would that be? Meet the man who directed the movie. You could ask him anything you wanted about the movie! They say that this movie Fright World: "...think Friday the 13th meets The Shining." Interesting. I myself love horror films. I always enjoy a good scare. Because, after the movie is over, I can go back to my routine life. I guess, I just like the fact that those types of movies get my adrenaline flowing and my heart racing. Even though I am not physically in the situation, I can't help but be freightened. But, if any of you go to this, let me know how it is. ![]() Category: Blog -- posted at: 9:53 PM Comments[0] |

Similarly, both Firefox and IE7 support tabbed browsing. For those of you new to this idea, tabs allow users to open multiple web pages within the same window. Tabs keep the Windows taskbar more organized and clutter free. The browsers use different terms for essentially the same idea: Firefox Extension; Internet Explorer 7 add-on. Both Firefox and IE7 support extensions or add-ons that allow users to customize their browser. One such example is an extension called Trailfire. Trailfire is a hosted service that enables anyone to comment on any web page. Place a 'trail mark' on a page with your comments or notes. A trail mark can contain text, images, videos and other media types. When you give several marks the same 'trail name' you are forming your own navigation path on the web. We call this a 'Trail'." However, Firefox has one thing over IE7: a head start. And by that I mean, Firefox has a library of add-ons of 1000+. IE7 has just been 'officially' released and therefore has a much smaller library. There are such add-ons that block annoying flash banner ads, web developer tools, even add-ons that can control just about any music player under the sun, without have to switch to the player? How cool is that? Also, another difference is that Firefox supports Themes. Just like switching themes on Windows XP, Firefox can change its own theme. Like the way Macintosh looks, there is a theme for that. Like the color blue? There is a theme for that too. Like the look IE7, yep, there's a theme for that also! In my opinion, Firefox wins, but you decide. Besides, which sounds cooler? FIREFOX or MICRSOFT INTERNET EXPLORER 7?
