Schoolwork has kept me pretty busy lately. Which is the reason for my lack of posting recently. The classes that I am taking include (in no particular order): Advanced Java Programming, Software Engineering and Design, Operating Systems, Native American Studies-History, and Global Positioning Systems. The class with the most work is the Native American Studies. The instructor is (oddly enough) from Finland, and assigns 100+ pages a week of reading. Which, for most people like myself, takes some time to actually read and take notes on what was read for future reference. Why the notes? An analytical report has to be written about the books later on. I say books, because there is 3 books for this class. And they all require to have reports written on them. 2 from 2 books and one report on the third book.

Steve gave another fantastic Macworld Keynote! I am definitely looking forward to see the AppleTV and the iPhone in action. Too bad that won't be until February and June, respectively.

Then there's the whole thing with workers using $700 chairs as foot stools! You heard me right a $700 chair! And they are standing on it with work boots! Yikes! Not something that I would be doing! Anyways, you'll notice that 30 seconds into the video, that they are using Mac computers!!! Go Apple!

Also, at 39 seconds in, you'll see a distinct Apple Logo on Ted's laptop on the far left hand side of the screen. I like these guys already! Anywho, the video is about 9:30 long, it's actually a little less than that, but what's 2 seconds...

If you are skeptical about buying one, then find a friend or store that has one for demo and take it for a trial spin. I know that Nintendo isn't competing with Microsoft and Sony as far as graphics go, but they are doing an amazing job at keeping players happy and even bringing in people who never owned a game console before. Which, if you look at it, is better in the long run.

Think about it, would you rather sell 100 PS3's to 200 people who already own a PS2 or sell 100 Wii's to new customers that have never owned their own console and would recommend it to their friends and family? Me, I'd take the Wii any day. Especially considering the price differences...$250 (Wii) or $600 (PS3)! Well, I am taking a 4-year degree in Computer Information Systems. Basically, what that equates to is a degree that educates me on EVERYTHING about computers. Hardware, software, networking, programming, security, e-Business, Operating Systems, you name it. I even had a course on XHTML, which is how I have been able to most of my 'Template Tweaking'. I might upload the website I had to build someday. It's not that outstanding, but considering what I learned from doing it, I think it's pretty amazing. I'll have to show you now...

Anyways, I am now halfway through my Sophomore year. I have taken 15 credits a semester since I arrived. I'll probably be taking 18 next semester. I haven't decided whether I want to take the new course offered...Robotics! I think it would be fun to (attempt to) build a robot!

Next semester I am taking Advanced Java Programming! Yea! Finally get into building interfaces. So far everything I have done is building applications that run from the command line. But now, I will be building applets and whatnot! Hopefully we get to program some kind of game...

This thing is TINY. No more wires or wireless connection to the VCR so they are hard to detect. In fact, it is actually disguised as a Clock or Air Purifier. It comes in Black and White or Color. This little Nanny Cam can record up to 23 hours on a 2GB SD card. But only that, it has SOUND. So you can review everything that was said. This hidden camera/spy camera can also be used to monitor pets while you are away.

But now I ask YOU, my readers, when is a hidden camera a good idea? When is it not such a good idea? Would you use one? If so why or why not? Personally, I think it would a great tool to pull practical jokes on friends, but that is just me. If any of you have a hidden camera, do you like it? It's pretty amazing what they had to go through. After watching these videos, I have a new respect for what they did for all of us bloggers. All we have to do is post advertisements, but they had to be the ones to try something new and hoped for the best.

Another reason that I have been posting more, is because of PayPerPost. They do blog reviews and I get paid to make posts. While 'wandering' around the internet, I stumbled upon a site called ReviewMe. It is similar to PayPerPost, in that I am paid for writing reviews. However, unlike PayPerPost, advertisers pay based on what my blog is 'worth.' At PayPerPost, each ad is given a value by the advertiser. However, at ReviewMe, all posts are paid on what your blog is estimated to be worth.

What is Internet Television you ask? Basically, an online TV channel should resemble the traditional TV channels that everyone is used to. tVadio only lists quality online TV stations with a substantial amount of TV programming. You wonât find short clips from them.

However, I must say that tVadio is currently in beta and is under some heavy development. But that is not to say that you shouldnât try it, because it is cool, but you just need to understand that this is not a final product. They are in need of adding more channels to the database. They are working to improve the tVadio Player, and they want to work on additional features. NinjaBattles is an online text based game where users can play as Ninja or Samurai and compete for $500. The NinjaBattles user base is comprised of both men and women, ages 10 to 40.

The goal of NinjaBattles is to have the most Yin (if you are a ninja) or Yang (if you are a samurai). You get Yin/Yang points by performing missions or attacking enemy players. Your energy, strength, agility and weapon are all factors that affect your ability to gain Yin/Yang points. Work together with your teammates to crush your enemies! I use the clip from Disney's Aladdin Movie: Who disturbs my slumber? for when my computer turns on. And I have the Terminator's: Hasta la vista baby! for when my computer is shutting down. Megaglobe.com, which will operate from over 300 individual country-specific URL's and is to be translated into hundreds of languages, is set to challenge its rivals by employing a unique and sophisticated algorithm to improve the quality of Internet searching.

I first heard of it on TV, so I thought, eh, let's give it a shot. I am glad that I did. You can spend money on other products that may work, but for how long? This stuff (at least for me) works for quite awhile. You might as well give it a shot.

Though 4 isn't bad, it is also not very good.

My proposal is this. If I can purchase my computer before March 2007, I will bump the iPod from a Nano to the (what is currently) the 5G iPod with Video. I will even go so far as to say, I will let the winner decide which model. U2 Edition or 30GB (Black or White).

But not only do the images look better, they grow/shrink like a real dock, although MUCH slower. Everything on this web page that I can edit is in XHTML. So, I would use flash, but I do not know how.

Gaze in awe of my xhtml dock! WHOOO! Also, I updated the Donate, Subscribe, and Unsubscribe buttons. Apparently, nobody wanted free music... That also means that my button contest is canceled. Nobody contacted me or submitted anything.
